Gulf Building completed this project as a Construction Manager for the Key West Housing Authority as a moderate income housing development. The project was originally $3M over budget and through Gulf Building’s value engineering services we were able to meet the client’s budget and start construction.
The project included 96 residential moderate income housing units in 17 different buildings. Gulf’s responsibilities included design, master planning, construction, which included site work, utility coordination, water mains and sanitary sewer, landscaping, playground areas and extensive erosion control and wetland mitigation.
